FREE COMMUNITY EVENT

  • Two-day, outdoor fine arts and traditional crafts fair in a picturesque setting in the St. Croix River Valley
  • Food, specialty and business vendors
  • Special Guest: Kate Roberts of the Minnesota Historical Society, "MN 150" Exhibit Developer and Author 'Minnesota 150: The People, Places and Things that Shape Our State'
  • Pie Baking Contest with guest judge & local author of "Humble Pie", Anne Dimock.
  • Special Appearance by meteorologist and local favorite Sven Sundgaard
  • Maypole celebration with the Vasa Swedish Folk Dancers
  • Raptor Center: meet and greet a bald eagle and other birds
  • Washington County distributing fishing lures for safe and lead-free enjoyment of the St. Croix River.
  • Live Music and Wine Sampling from local vineyards.
  • Children’s Activities, Live Music and Wine Sampling from local vineyards

10am Old Fashioned Pie Baking Contest - pie drop off in activity tent in park
10:30am Pie judging in activity tent
11am to 1pm The public is invited to share their Scandinavian treasures in activity tent
12 noon to 5pm Wine Tasting and Music
12:30pm Pie winners announcement and prizes
1pm Vasa Swedish Folk Dancers, Music and May Pole and Norwegian Søttende Mai Celebration
2pm to 4pm Bob Damon Jazz Trio in the music and wine tent
2pm to 4pm Children’s Fair Hair and Face Painting
4pm to 5pm Vegetable & Herb Container Demonstration by Squire House Gardens
   
   
Sunday, May 18
11am to 4pm Music, Arts, Crafts, Food and Specialty booths
11am to 1pm Kate Roberts, Minnesota Historical Society, MN 150
11am to 1pm Children’s Scavenger Hunt, find the answers to the clues and win a prize
11am to 1pm The public is invited to share their Scandinavian treasures in activity tent
12 noon to 1pm Wonderful World of Woody: Music, Magic and Juggling
12 noon to 2pm Children’s Fair Hair and Face Painting
12 noon to 4pm Wine Tasting and Music
1pm to 3pm Raptor Center, Bald Eagle and Other Birds
1pm to 3pm Lead Free fishing tackle give-away by Washington County Dept. of Public Health and Environment.
1pm to 3pm Green Guardian Mascot promoting environmental efforts
2pm to 4pm Jim Baldrica Pop group in the music and wine tent
